Compensation

$375.00 per billable hour (detail billed in 1/10 hour increments), including time for preliminary hearings, telephone conferences, document review and preparation, travel time, study time, legal research, deliberation and award preparation, plus reimbursement of travel costs and other reasonable and necessary expenses incurred.

Hearing Cancellation Fee – Scheduled hearing dates are reserved on the arbitrator's calendar, and preclude acceptance of any other work for the dates selected.  In cases where the final hearing is cancelled/postponed without consent of the arbitrator less than 30 days but more than 15 days before the scheduled hearing commencement date, a cancellation fee of $3,000 will be applied.  In cases where the final hearing is cancelled/postponed without consent of the arbitrator less than 15 days before the scheduled hearing commencement date, a cancellation fee of $5,000 will be applied.  Cancellation fees may be waived for good cause, at the arbitrator's discretion.
